NCCR Itinerary and Info for 2008 will be posted soon:

We have some great artists appearing for your entertainment this year! The Saturday concert will once again be at the Covered Arena. Exile will be the headliner. Campers who camp on top should drive to the West Gate to attend this show. Sunday, several activities are planned for those who wish to participate, including the horse drive from Nixon Mountain, along with driving cattle to the arena, sorting them, and loading them on a semi trailer headed to a feedlot. This will be actual work that is done on a cattle ranch and will give participants an opportunity to experience that lifestyle.

Consignments for the catalog horse sale will be accepted through August 15. The catalog fee for each consignment for this sale is $75.00. If you wish to consign your animal, please fax the information you want included in the catalog to Jill Rhoda at 501 745-7799.

Sunday, there will be two church services, the usual one at the Announcer's stand and Cowboy Up for Christ services at the arena. This should make it easier for those of you who camp at the Buffalo Rock to attend services if you so choose.

Permanent campers may come in to clean and set up their camps August 15-24. However, the gates will not open for camping until Saturday, August 25. Gate personnel will not open the gates and the horse verifiers will not be accepting any equine until 8:00 am on August 25. Please do not arrive earlier.

New campers should request a permanent camp sign before they leave for the year on Sunday, September 2 before noon.

For those of you who are new campers, and want to reserve a camp site at Southfork Campground or Red River Corral Campgrounds, please contact those campgrounds directly. Contact Southfork at (501) 835 9425, and contact Red River Corral at (501) 745-3121. Also, if you need a portapotty on Southfork campground, you will need to contact them as to having one set.

Several chuckwagon races are scheduled this summer gearing up for the 2007 National Championship. The Lucky Bull Ranch in Caney, Kansas will be the hosts of the Kansas Championship Chuckwagon Race on Saturday, Nov 9th and Sunday, Nov 10th. For more information, please contact Ron or Vicki Edens at (620) 879-2004. We will be updating this page as the season goes on. Please check back often, as some of the times and events may change.
